STATEMENT

There is virtue in doing things for the right reason. I have tried to live my life accordingly. For forty years an academic career enabled me to provide for my family and create art freed from commercial influence. Thus, I did not seek Gallery affiliations but chose consistently to exhibit in College and University venues. Yet, over the years, opportunities came which expanded the breath of my exhibition record and afforded critical affirmation of the quality of my work. Now, in retirement, and with an inventory of work in four Series and styles, my circumstances have changed. Evidence of these facts follow.
